HANOI, February 25 (DHA Vietnam) - The Race Organizing Committee (ROC) of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has announced that it will scale down the size of the upcoming March 6, 2022 race in both the content and the number of participating runners at a request by the Hanoi Culture and Sports Department to ensure safety for runners, event attendants and the whole community.

Runners competing at the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021, Vietnam's leading professional race, will experience their exclusively reserved running track and crossing the Finish line on the pitch in My Dinh National Stadium for the first time.

A total of 600 Full Marathon runners have been qualified to compete early next month of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon, Vietnam's leading professional race, from nearly 1,500 applications, the Race Organizing Committee has announced.

The VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021, Vietnam’s leading professional race, has decided to extend the time of Full Marathon PR recording to select 1,000 FM runners to join the competition early next month.

Wrapping up the last leg of the Virtual VPBank Hanoi Marathon, 10 clubs with the best records based on the distances their members have conquered have been determined, in which TPR - Thong Nhat Park Runners seized the first place, having made an extraordinary victory.

Quang Binh Runners rose to the top of participating running clubs in the second stage of the Virtual VPBank Hanoi Marathon, from the 18th position held at the end of last year, and was honored along with 51 runners at the Lucky Draw on January 2, 2022.

The Virtual VPBank Hanoi Marathon, an opportunity for long-distance marathoners to use the Heritage Race app while many races have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic, has completed the first leg and selected 51 lucky winners.
