The VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 would like to announce: Registration for all distances of the marathon, Vietnam's leading professional race, will end on August 20, 2022, earlier than scheduled based on the number of registered runners so far.

Previously, the Race Organizing Committee announced on August 12 to stop accepting registrations for all the distances on August 31, 2022.

With the new date as announced in place, the distance changing feature will also end on August 20, 2022.

Earlier, the 21,097-km category (Half Marathon) of the marathon had already stopped taking registrations on August 10, 2022.

Closing registrations nearly 2 months prior to the race date when there are still many runners wishing to compete at the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 is a tough decision for the ROC.

However, in order to ensure a top-notch race with strict criteria on running track security, safety for runners, professionalism in the organization stage, the ROC will focus heavily on the preparation for every part of the work.

The BIB transfer deadline is still set at September 30, 2022 so that runners can consider joining the race, even after registrations end on the website.

In order to look up for the Bib information, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the website: hanoi.vietnamheritagemarathon.com

Step 2: Log in (With registered email)

Step 3: Click on the person image at the top right corner, then go to Personal Page

Step 4: Go to the Registration List, select the Bib and pick the next action (Edit, Send mail, Transfer, Select BIB number, Change distance)

Step 5: Update and Return

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. Runners’ results are recognized to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, counting from 2022.
