VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 To Change Start, Finish Gates

Thus, the Race Organizing Committee (ROC) of Vietnam's leading professional race will set the Start gate right in front of the square, north of the Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Finish gate in front of Hoan Kiem Power Company at 69C Dinh Tien Hoang street.

At the Finish line this year, the ROC will arrange a 5-star quality recovery zone with foreign experts and modern equipment to provide runners with the best recovery.

Besides, there will be a stall serving coconut water, beer, fruit, filtered water and electrolytes so that runners can relax right at the romantic lakeside.

The ROC will also arrange a secondary Finish gate, attached with a chip time device to display the runners' results near The Huc Bridge. This will definitely be an extremely unique romantic check-in point for runners.

The ROC wishes the marathoners a reasonable training and good physical strength to compete in the race that is considered the most attractive today.

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors. VPBank Hanoi Marathon results can be used to qualify at any of the World Six Majors, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
