VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 To Deploy 40 Photographers

In order to capture runners' best moments, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon will have up to 40 photographers station the entire track of Vietnam's leading professional race.

This task force of 'shooters' has not only been rigorously selected for skills or experience in taking photos at many national races, but many shooters are also non-professional runners with high achievements.

The team will be assigned to man three areas: several fixed points, around the Finish line while some others will also be embedded with the marathon's official vehicle to follow up and capture each moment of runners' effort on the track.

Armed with experience, understanding of marathons and a wide range of camera angles, the shooters are expected to capture the sporting beauty of all marathoners.

The photos at the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022 will not only show top-notch skills but also a measure of the photographers' empathy for runners and for this special sport in the group of athletics.

The Race Organizing Committee will put up many large signs stating "CAMERAS AHEAD" so that runners could be able to adjust their outfits before posing for special ‘cool’ photos.

Let's prepare well physically and mentally to have very interesting experiences on the top running track of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2022!

Please also remember that the photographers' team will be there from the time of Race Kit distribution to the moment of Finish line crossing to document a beautiful marathon season for all of us!

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors. VPBank Hanoi Marathon results can be used to qualify at any of the World Six Majors, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
