Last Tickets To Join VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021

  

The Race Organizing Committee (ROC) of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon now extends additional registration to 23:00 (Vietnam time, GMT+7) on November 20, 2021 with 99 slots. The extension has been made after a number of marathoners, who could not adjust with the race date tentatively re-scheduled for December 26, had wished to reserve their slots for the 2022 race.

The main registration for the race closed on September 30.

By now the ROC has basically completed organization according to the new race schedule to ensure that the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021 will always be a leading and unique race, ending a year full of changes and challenges faced by the country's economy, and especially by runners and the running movement.

Let's take a look at the most unique features of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021 that prompt any runner to want to join.

1. The marathon has drawn the participation of top runners from the national team as well as provincial and city teams across the country.

2. The marathon has received professional instructions from, and its preparation plus the race day itself are closely supervised by the Vietnam Athletics Federation.

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. Runners’ results, in addition to be qualified for competing in the 31st SEA Games, are still recognized to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, counting from 2022.
