The Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race 2023, Vietnam's leading professional race, will change the race day to October 15 from October 29 initially set.

Previously, the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race 2023 was licensed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports to be held on October 29, 2023.

The Race Organizing Committee has discussed with the organizing committee of the Longbien Marathon, but the two major marathons in Hanoi have announced the race date on the same day in October 2023.

In order for runners to experience Hanoi's autumn in both the races, in keeping with the tradition of maintaining the spirit of solidarity among marathon organizers, the ROC of the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race 2023 has decided to change the race date. The change will certainly have a major impact on the ROC itself, as well as the newly registered runners.

For runners who have registered for the 2023 Bib, if they cannot participate in the new race day, please send a message to the marathon's Facebook fan page, we will make a full refund of the registration fee for you.

The offers "Greetings to New Race Date" will remain valid through November 15, 2022, with the following details:

• The 50-percent discount to the Early Bird rate in gratitude to all the runners and volunteers who have participated in the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race 2022;
• The super incentive involving a 70-percent discount to the Early Bird rate for groups of 10 people or more. All members of the group who have successfully registered will receive a code for free transfer worth VND 240,000, valid until 23:59 on July 31, 2023.
• The function for registering with nice Bib numbers also starts from 00:01 on November 1, 2022 and is free for the runners who successfully register between now and November 15, 2022.

Held annually since 2018, the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors. Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race results can be used to qualify at any of the World Six Majors, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
