The Hanoi Opera House, a masterpiece of architecture and art of the Capital, will appear for the first time on the Finisher’s medal of the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race 2023.
The Opera House, inaugurated in 1911, is a work classified as a national heritage.
In the middle of the medal is the prominent red flag with yellow star, carrying the desire to conquer challenges and the pride of "Creating future heritage together". The competing distance will also be clearly marked on the medal.
The motifs on the medal match the motifs on runners’ singlets, making them a pair of items for runners participating in the race.
However, this is not the first time Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race items honor the Capital’s unique heritage works. The Thap Rua (Turtle Tower) locating in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake (The Lake of Returned Sword) was featured on the 2018 medal when the race made debut, as well as on the 2022 medal.
The Hanoi Marathon – Heritage Race 2023’s Organizing Committee wishes all runners, volunteers and the crew members great health to complete the goals of the race.
