The number of runners registered to compete in the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2023, Vietnam’s leading professional race, has reached a record of more than 12,000.

The registration record for the race to be held on October 15, 2023 has been reached after only two special promotions on the occasion of “Greetings to The New Race Date” and Black Friday in November 2022.

The Race Organizing Committee has begun preparing the best on-track options for the mid-autumn weekend morning in Hanoi’s inner city.

The Race Organizing Committee of the VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2023 would like to thank the runners for their companionship and look forward to welcoming all again on October 15, 2023.

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors. VPBank Hanoi Marathon results can be used to qualify at any of the World Six Majors, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
